Using this website
This website introduces Canvas Code House and provides a way to enquire about services and review a project proposal. General descriptions and example proposals are for information. Examples do not constitute a fixed quote or a client engagement.
Your project agreement
Your individual proposal sets out the project scope, fees, payment milestones, tax treatment, schedule and other agreed terms. Read it carefully before accepting. Any change to scope or schedule should be agreed with the studio in writing.
Approval and payment
Accepting a proposal records your approval of the scope and terms shown. It does not confirm that payment has been received or that work has started. Payment is processed by Stripe. Check the currency and amount on Stripe’s checkout and retain your receipt. Contact the studio if anything differs from your proposal.
Content and ownership
Responsibilities for content, permissions, project deliverables and transfer of rights should be set out in your project proposal. Only provide content you have permission to use. Photography displayed as a creative direction does not imply the featured business is a client.
Changes, cancellation and support
Revision limits, cancellations, refunds and post-launch support depend on the terms agreed for your project. Raise questions with the studio before accepting or paying for a proposal.
